Abstract types

Symposia and poster abstracts are accepted

Abstracts and /or proposals received after this deadline will be refused. Please submit abstracts by e-mail according to the guidelines below.

Guidelines

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English by e-mail only, Microsoft Word 2003 (or lower format), as an attachment to the e-mail at the following address: iop@asszisztencia.hu
  2. Abstracts should not exceed one page in length (including tables and figures). Use single line spacing throughout. Margins: 2.5cm left and right, Times New Roman, font 12, A4 format.
  3. Include title, name(s) of author(s), affiliation(s) and four keywords.
  4. Abstracts for Posters or Symposia must include methodological clarity, results and conclusions.
  5. Include a separate page providing full name, address, fax and e-mail details of the submitting author. Specify if the abstract is for a Symposium or a Poster.
  6. A Symposium Chairman is responsible for submitting his own abstract in addition to requesting his symposium participants to individually submit their abstracts (according to the Guidelines) by specifying the name of the Symposium Chairman as well as the Title of the Symposium and at the same time, registering for the IOP2010 World Congress.
  7. Each Symposium will be of two hours (120 minutes) and composed of five presentations (including the Chairman) each of 20 minutes including questions. At the end, another 20 minutes is for discussion, further questions and answers. Each proposed Symposium abstract must be thematically interrelated to the Title of the Symposium. The Referees of the World Congress Committee will evaluate each abstract of a Symposium on all of the above criteria for acceptance.
  8. All accepted Abstracts will be published in the International Journal of Psychophysiology which will be distributed to all registered Delegates at the World Congress Site in Budapest, Hungary. Abstracts will be edited by mode of presentation: Keynote Lectures, Symposia and Poster Presentations.
  9. Authors will be notified about the decision of the Referees in regards to the acceptance or refusal of their abstract.
  10. Authors will have to finalize their Registration and undertake Hotel Reservations.
